What is Podfest

As we host our 10-year anniversary, PODFEST has been on a wild ride of unbridled growth from its humble beginnings in 2015 to now.

Needless to say, the last four years have been the craziest of all.

PODFEST’20 was the only in-person podcast conference to go on that year and had over 2,000 registered attendees!

We then went fully virtual with the first-ever PODFEST Global Summit in August 2020 and earned the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDSTM title for The Largest Attendance for a Virtual Podcasting Conference in One Week – a record our second Global Summit shattered the very next year with 5,816 virtual attendees!

As 2021 drew to a close, we brought PODFEST back to where it all began in Tampa, Florida with PODFEST ORIGINS at Amalie Arena, home of the Tampa Bay Lightning.

At last year’s Podfest we made our Creator Expo Hall the central focus of the event, driving results for independent creators and global brands alike. As the longest continuously-held, annual, in-person podcast conference in the world, we are expecting a record-setting turnout for our 10-year anniversary of bringing together podcasters and brands the world over.

We are excited to welcome over 2000+ Podcasters to this special milestone show!

Hall of Fame Eligibility

The criterion for entry into the HOF is a combination of:

Mainstream popularity, being considered a great podcaster or contributor to the industry by their peers, or excelling in the medium of podcasting, as well as having historical significance in a positive manner.

Candidates should have something to offer in all three of the categories mentioned, or be so outstanding in one or two that they deserve inclusion.

To be eligible for entry into the HOF, a nominee must have completed five years since their first involvement in the medium, but longevity should not be considered a qualification in and of itself.
